Job Description

The OR Registered Nurse will perform nursing duties in the operating room within a Level I Trauma Center. This role requires the ability to scrub and circulate during various surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room
• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures as needed
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient operations
• Assist in emergency and trauma cases
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting preferred
• Current South Carolina RN license or Multi State/Compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience in scrub roles is strongly preferred
• Must be open to on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays
