Job Description

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The Clinical Nurse works independently to complete assignments, adhering to physician orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals of all ages and their families.
• Perform nursing care procedures based on patient needs and treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and concerns.
• Collaborate with medical staff and report on patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States or its territories.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Completion of Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.
