CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - 24hrs/week.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for producing computerized tomography images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician, according to established practices and procedures. The position is at a facility that performs approximately 125 scans daily using two CT scanners, with support provided by CT tech aides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This facility is recognized as a DNV stroke center and is ACR accredited.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images as per physician's orders.
• Collaborate efficiently with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain and operate CT scanning equipment effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CT imaging.
• New Jersey DEP license required.
• ARRT certification required.
• CT certification required.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Experience with EPIC is mandatory.
• Emergency room experience is preferred.
