Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing various types of mammography, including diagnostic, screening, and stereotactic biopsy procedures. This role requires expertise in utilizing advanced mammography technology and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D mammography and digital mammography procedures.
• Conduct fine needle aspiration and needle localizations.
• Provide outpatient care and support to patients during mammographic screenings.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for documenting patient information and procedure outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Certifications: ARRT in Mammography (ARRT M) and Radiography (ARRT R), BLS.
• Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
