This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team. The ideal candidate will provide care in a psychiatric health care facility, working with adult patients, including those with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and external review organizations.
• Participate in crisis intervention and management as needed.
• May float to different units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification (can be completed on site).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience in psychiatric health care preferred.
