Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotation includes night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with alternating weekends and no call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team for a seasonal contract position. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care and ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns while adhering to established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess fetal well-being using intermediate fetal monitoring.
• Perform a variety of procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC.
• Administer medications and support patients through labor and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current RN license.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Competency in EFM and SVE, as well as C-Section circulation.
• Experience in Level IV units is preferred.
