Registered Nurse (OR) - Trauma, Neuro, Vascular, and Ortho Experience Required

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM) with potential to cover night shifts as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopaedic nursing, as they will be providing care in a fast-paced, acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing various surgeries, specifically in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho specializations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and major holidays as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, specifically in trauma and ortho.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
