Contract Registered Nurse - Level 3-4 NICU

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) - No on-call required.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Level 3-4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidates will provide high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced environment. The unit consists of 97 beds and maintains a staff of approximately 200, ensuring a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a Level 3-4 NICU.
• Manage patient assignments with a typical ratio of 3-4 patients per RN.
• Utilize critical care equipment including Medfusion pumps, Alaris, Giraffe incubators, and GE monitors.
• Document patient care and interactions using CPN and Meditech electronic medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience.
• Current RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Preference given to candidates who are not first-time travelers and have experience in similar settings.
