This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a requirement of a minimum of every other weekend and holiday shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in emergency care to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include triaging patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage and assessment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient interactions in accordance with facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department; 3 years preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all via AHA).
• Preferred certifications: CPI/CIC; travelers may obtain CPI if staying longer than 3 months.
