Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for observing, assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating care for all patients in the surgical setting. The successful candidate will work with a clinical coordinator and be adept at staffing for various specialty service lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a variety of surgical procedures.
• Ensure proficient charting and documentation using Meditech.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams and support staff.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Maintain a high level of critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute OR setting.
• Experience in orthopedics, spine, and joint replacement procedures.
• Knowledge of robotics, vascular, and podiatry surgical procedures preferred.
• PALS and CNOR certifications are a plus.
