Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Description

This is a critical care position for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and monitoring patients who require close observation and frequent assessment. The role involves utilizing EPIC for patient documentation and requires the ability to float to similar units as needed.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, scheduled for every other weekend (EOW) from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of recent PCU RN experience in a busy level 1 Trauma facility
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Current ACLS American Heart Association certification
• NIHSS certification required
• EPIC experience is required
