Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week. Must be available for call, weekends, and holidays. No block scheduling.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role requires expertise in neuro and vascular procedures as well as a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient needs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient safety and care.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques specific to neuro and vascular surgeries.
• Ensure proper documentation and data management using electronic platforms.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
• High rating on skills checklist, specifically in neuro and vascular surgery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard.
• Must have electronic devices to access necessary applications.
