This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist evaluates, selects, performs, and/or directs assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients, based on physician referrals. The therapist collaborates with family members and the healthcare team to work towards the patient's abilities and goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ occupational needs and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist in educational, vocational, and recreational activities for rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with family and health team members regarding patient progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Eligible for or currently possess a license from the State of Oregon.
• Current valid Oregon driver's license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have knowledge of occupational therapy related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures.
• Effective team skills, good communication, and a positive attitude are essential.
