Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients in accordance with their individual needs. The position requires a solid understanding of physical therapy principles and procedures, alongside the ability to communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and functionality.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy goals and home exercise programs.
• Documentation of patient care and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent education if trained outside of the U.S.); Master's Degree preferred.
• Current Texas license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, including pediatric experience.
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
