Job Description

Seeking an experienced Neurology ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing patients post-thrombectomy, TPA treatment, and post-neurosurgery. This unit features advanced medical equipment and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill neurology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responding to emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring.
• Educate patients and family members on care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN state licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous ICU experience, specifically in neurology or related fields.
• Competence in advanced neurological care practices.
