Inpatient Hospice Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Hospice Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to patients in a hospice setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in hospice care and be adept in using HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB). Candidates without HCHB experience may be considered at a reduced rate with the understanding of a training period.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient hospice setting.
• Perform assessments and develop care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Manage medication administration and provide symptom management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Meet productivity expectations of 24-30 visits per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license and relevant certifications.
• Previous hospice experience is mandatory.
• Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred.
