Respiratory Therapist - Contract Position

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary Services in accordance with protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. This includes delivering timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Collect and analyze blood gases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have NBRC RRT certification (must be attached).
• Minimum of 2 years recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Experience with pediatrics and obstetric patients is required.
• Must have a valid Wyoming RT license (must be attached to resume).
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS (must be through the American Heart Association and attached).

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
