Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed per week. On-call requirements to be determined by the facility.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LD RN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery and previous travel experience. The selected candidate may also float to Postpartum or Antepartum to assist as necessary. Please note that candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the offer process.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately.
• Assist in floating to Postpartum or Antepartum units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery RN experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Current and active RN license, with no hits on the state license to practice.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (BLS, ACLS, PALS, AFM).
• Driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
