Registered Nurse - ER & ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts during evenings and nights, totaling 72-80 hours per biweekly period.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the primary care of patients in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit. Nurturing the critical needs of patients, you may also float to other nursing units to assist as necessary. Duties include sitting with patients, helping with transport, telemetry monitoring, and being an integral member of the rapid response and code blue team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to ER and ICU patients.
• Assist on other floors as needed, not serving as a primary nurse.
• Expedite patient needs across various nursing units.
• Monitor telemetry and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in rapid response and code blue situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

All candidates must have experience in both ER and ICU settings to be considered for this position.
