Shift: 07:00 - 19:00, Days (7A - 7P) with rotating weekend hours.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic nursing team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a psychiatric health care facility, with an emphasis on caring for patients with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric needs. You will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, creating treatment plans, and communicating effectively with external review organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and external review organizations.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across multiple units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered RN license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Handle With Care (HWC) training (can be completed on site).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
