Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Inpatient Overflow Unit. The unit consists of 20 beds and caters to a mixed level of care for medical-surgical and step-down patients with a short stay target of 24 hours. The role requires providing telemetry monitoring and adhering to protocols set forth in the unit's guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient care and telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6, depending on the level of care.
• Provide support to patients and families during their stay.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Recent experience in a progressive care setting is preferred.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
