Registered Nurse - PCU (Nights, EOW)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Patient Care Unit (PCU). The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a critical care environment. This position requires the ability to float to all like units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the PCU.
• Monitor and assess patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week on a Days EOW schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 3 years of recent telemetry nursing experience in a busy Level 1 trauma facility.
• Current New Jersey RN License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
