Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical ICU

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts, specifically from 19:00 to 07:00.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting. This role involves working with critically ill patients and requires the ability to manage complex medical situations. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Manage life-support equipment and monitoring devices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting preferred.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
