RN Perioperative Nurse

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This position is a 10-hour shift, 10 days on and 4 days off.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the perioperative specialty. Applicants must have the required AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and staff to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient’s vitals and manage anesthesia as required.
• Educate patients and their families about care procedures and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in perioperative nursing.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
