Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist or Scientist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Cerner, Sysmex, and CellaVision systems. Our laboratory is busy and involves managing a wide variety of complex samples daily, including turbid specimens and abnormal cell findings. Thus, familiarity with handling such challenges is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyze results with precision.
• Utilize advanced laboratory systems including Sysmex and CellaVision effectively.
• Handle complex samples and ensure accurate differentials, especially in neonatal units.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver timely results in a high-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a laboratory setting.
• Licensure: ASCP, AMT, AAB preferred.
• Experience with Hematology, core lab functions, Sysmex, and CellaVision is required.
• Candidates must be a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist; Medical Laboratory Technicians will not be considered.
