Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 36 hours/week, every third weekend

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nursing care to patients in the MICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, improving health outcomes through effective interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Previous experience in a critical care environment preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
