Physical Therapist

Job Description

Physical Therapists (PTs) are licensed healthcare professionals who help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. PTs examine each individual and develop personalized treatment plans using techniques to promote movement, alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They also focus on preventing the loss of mobility through fitness and wellness-oriented programs aimed at healthier, more active lifestyles. Physical therapists provide care in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home health agencies.

Schedule

This position works Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30, with a requirement for weekend coverage on either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Arizona Physical Therapist license is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience in Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU), and Acute Care settings is required.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Cerner, is necessary.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
