Surgical Technologist - Night Shift

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with a commitment of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week). Call and weekends are mandatory, with a response time of 30 minutes. Weekend shifts may fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong capabilities to scrub all surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant procedures. This role involves providing essential support during surgical operations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team in performing procedures by providing instruments and supplies.
• Participate in the preparation of operating rooms and equipment before surgeries.
• Support the surgical team during operations as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical experience in an Operating Room environment, with a preference for 3 years.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting within the last three years.
• At least 1 year of travel experience in the last three years.
• Certification is required from NBSTSA or NCCT; other certifications are not acceptable.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
