Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg Float

Schedule

This position involves working a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule including every other weekend and holidays.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across multiple medical-surgical floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele. You must be willing to float to all designated units and may also be required to float to our WestLakes Campus, which is approximately 9.5 miles from downtown.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and interventions accurately in the medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required for practice.
• Experience in a med-surg setting is preferred.
• Willingness to float to various units as needed.
• Completion of required health and safety screenings and certifications during onboarding.
