Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

7 PM to 7 AM, rotating weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, attending to critical care situations and ensuring high-quality care in our 28-bed emergency unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records using Meditech Expanse.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certification required.
• Demonstrated patient experience and emergency response skills.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
