Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Day Shift

Day shift scheduled for 3x12 hours, from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be proficient in various respiratory therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage airway support and mechanical ventilation for adult patients.
• Perform extubation and intubation assistance.
• Execute nasal and oral airway placements and suctioning.
• Collect sputum specimens and care for tracheostomy patients.
• Utilize high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and other respiratory support technologies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot high-pressure alarms effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of recent RRT experience in a critical care setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Allscripts charting system is preferred.
