RN Inpatient Surgery / OR

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, with weekends as needed. No call required.

Job Description

The RN Inpatient Surgery / OR provides comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves collaborating with surgical teams and supporting patients before, during, and after surgical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preoperative assessments and preparations of patients.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs during surgery.
• Coordinate with surgical and anesthesia teams for effective patient care.
• Provide postoperative care and education to patients and families.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Completion of Trinity Profile and Skills Checklist.
• Verification of criminal background and education required.
• Ability to pass drug screening and health assessments.
• Current CPR certification and other relevant certifications.
