Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts with weekends as needed. Schedule flexibility is required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive care in various inpatient settings, including NICU, PICU, adult ICU, and both adult and pediatric general units. Expertise in a teaching hospital environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care and assessments to patients in critical and non-critical settings.
• Administer treatments according to departmental protocols and best practices.
• Document care activities in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adhere to patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRTs will not be accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NBRC verification required.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
