OR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be adaptable to the dynamic needs of the operating room. This position involves both scrub and circulate responsibilities in a level 1 trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients in both scrub and circulate roles.
• Ensure patient safety and quality monitoring throughout the surgical process.
• Coordinate care across the OR, utilizing strong organizational skills.
• Be flexible to departmental needs, including potential weekend shifts.

Schedule

Shift: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements for two shifts per six-week schedule and occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• 4 years of level 1 trauma experience is required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
