Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Shift: 3x12 Nights (18:45 - 07:15)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide quality patient care during night shifts, manage medications through the Omnicell system, and float to various units as needed based on skill set and staffing needs. Weekend coverage will be required, every other weekend. Candidates should be prepared to handle an average daily census of 15-20 patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage patient care activities, including vital signs and assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and social services.
• Support patient education and advocacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Tennessee or multi-state.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• EPIC EMR experience of 1 year minimum.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred, with a patient ratio experience of 6:1.
