Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Night Shift

Night shifts: 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with orthopedic experience to join our team on a fast-paced unit. You will be responsible for the care of patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries, neuro spine procedures, and post-surgical recovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage pain control for orthopedic and neuro spine patients.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and IV insertion.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and pharmacy.
• Float to other med-surg units as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and families regarding their treatment and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic nursing role.
• BCLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure in NC or a Compact state.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus.
