Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract position. In this role, you will support physical therapy services for patients, assisting in their rehabilitation and recovery processes. You will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and facilitate therapeutic exercises.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the delivery of treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families regarding effective therapy techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
