Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required. Floating to Telemetry is necessary.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, ready to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be comfortable floating between units and managing critical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and families regarding care and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Open Heart surgery and Impella experience are preferred.
