MRI Technologist - Level 1 Trauma Hospital

Schedule

This position involves working 3×12 hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week. The schedule is as follows:

• Saturday: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• Sunday: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• One additional day during the week

No call or holiday shifts are required, although on-call duties may be possible.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T (Aera, Sola, Skyra, Vida) and Philips MRI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans as ordered by physicians while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment effectively.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Provide high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital.
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI systems and Philips imaging equipment.
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
