MedSurg RN - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00) with a combination of weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

The MedSurg RN provides patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, managing acute medical-surgical patients with diverse diagnoses. The RN will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure safe, high-quality care while embodying compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients on a MedSurg unit.
• Manage patient assessment and care plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient needs.
• Monitor patient health and respond to changing conditions promptly.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• WV or Compact RN License required (pending license accepted).
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
