Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with no call required. Four weekend shifts are mandatory per scheduling period.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery will provide comprehensive care to patients during the labor and delivery process, ensuring safety and support throughout their experience. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and provide interventions as needed.
• Perform assessments and documentation accurately and timely.
• Support mothers and families during their childbirth experience.
• Assist with procedures such as C-sections, SVD, and other related tasks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• At least 3 years of experience in High Risk Obstetrics.
• Current certifications in Advanced EFM, AWHONN Intermediate EFM, BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• CST certification preferred.
