Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab Unit

Schedule

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM; 3 12-hour shifts with rotating every 3rd weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in an Inpatient Rehab Unit consisting of 16 beds. This unit specializes in rehabilitative care for post-stroke, surgical, and medical patients requiring increased therapy. The RN will work alongside a dedicated team in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct assessments and create care plans based on patients' needs.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, participating in the interdisciplinary team approach.
• Manage medical and rehabilitative equipment effectively.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Kansas.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS or PALS certification preferred.
• Preferred CRRN certification.
• Knowledge of rehab documentation is a plus.
