Bone Density Technologist - DEXA Exam

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bone Density Technologist to perform DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) bone density exams. The ideal candidate must have recent and proficient experience conducting bone density exams, as this is a hardstop requirement for the position. This role does not require performing X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient DEXA bone density exams to assess patients.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection prevention and radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment functionality and cleanliness.
• Document patient information and exam results using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and proficient experience with bone density exams.
• Active ARRT (Radiography) through the Ohio Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
