Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This position offers night shifts, specifically 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. This role requires a strong background in patient monitoring, assessment, and management of cardiac patients to ensure optimal care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
