Registered Nurse - Medical Unit (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

Schedule

Night shift - Scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Flexibility is required as hours and shift preferences are not guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, utilizing advanced medical equipment and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Medical Unit, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient conditions and record vital signs.
• Administer medications and assist with treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical records and equipment effectively, including Meditech EMR and Pyxis systems.
• Participate in department-specific training and orientation programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Active Hawaii nursing license is required by the start of the assignment.
