CRT - Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Schedule

This is a night shift position, requiring 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a holiday rotation and the expectation of every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) specializing in pediatrics to provide high-quality care to neonate, infant, and pediatric patients. This teaching hospital offers a dynamic environment that supports professional development and collaboration among interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient respiratory statuses.
• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic procedures on pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create effective care plans for patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric, neonate, and infant care.
• Current CRT certification and BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license is required at the time of start.
• Epic experience preferred.
