Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week. Weekend rotation required every other week, with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Float Pool RN will provide care to patients across various medical-surgical units within the facility. The RN will float between med-surg floors, adapting to the varying needs of each unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assess and monitor patients’ health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a medical-surgical unit.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• BLS certification required.
