Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on maximizing patient recovery post-trauma and complex orthopedic injuries. This role requires a dedication to patient safety, teamwork, and supportive interaction with healthcare colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and managing patient progress.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure their safety while in the facility.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Participate in required documentation and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
• Inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Valid nursing license and BLS certification required.
