Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele Float

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, with a total of 72 hours every two weeks.

Job Description

This position involves floating between two medical surgical/tele units and managing overflow from the Medical Surgical units in the ICU and ED. The candidate will provide nursing care to patients in diverse medical settings, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical surgical/tele units.
• Float between units as required, adapting to changing patient needs and unit demands.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Work effectively in high-pressure environments, including ICU and ED overflow.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Previous experience in medical surgical and tele units is preferred.
