Travel Registered Nurse - Orthopedic/Spine - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic/Spine unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care and demonstrate flexibility in providing care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and spine patients.
• Monitor patient progress and document medical information accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform routine procedures as needed.
• Assist with joint replacements and fracture repairs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current experience in acute care, Med/Surg, or ortho nursing.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Chemotherapy certification is a plus, as it allows for patient care in the Oncology unit.
